Intramural Basketball Boys & Girls Afterschool Instructors for Elementary Schools
Qualifications:
- CT Teaching Certification Required
- Experience serving as a public school teacher preferred
- Knowledge, Background and/or experience in sports is preferred
- Athletic Coaching experience preferred
Description: We are looking to launch an elementary afterschool developmental basketball program.
- This program will be for boys and girls in grades 4 and 5.
- The program will run 5 weeks and will be 2 days/week for a total of 5 hours/week
- Looking for 2 teachers per elementary school
- Pay rate will be teacher contractual hourly
- Focus will be in skill development and related activities to increase student interest in basketball.
- Anticipated to run from Jan 6th, 2025 through Feb. 7th, days of week TBD
Reports to: Athletic Director and/or Principal
Certified: $38.13/hr
